Before we got to use the cameras, we were shown a video tutorial on the ways in which you/we use them.

Using the camera & Tripod:
We learnt how to

• Turn it on/off
• Record/stop recording
• Put the SD cards in/out
• Put the camera on tripod/take it off the tripod
• Open the tripod and extend it 

As you can see, the man on the Left is clearly not holding the camera with both hands an is smiling. By doing this he could drop the camera and therefore have to buy a new one, wasting the time of his group. 

Don't be like that man.

The woman on the right clearly knows what shes doing, shes not paying attention t whats going on around her, but is focusing on the camera with both hands

Be like her.

Locations

As you can see on the Left, a dark scary alleyway isnt the ideal for very expensive flm equipment and a group of teenagers. Be careful if you do choose these types of locations, and ask the teacher beforehand if they think its a good idea

Be careful and don't go to alleyways alone.

On the Right shows a film group who have chosen a great location and are cheering together because they thought through their locations, researched how to get there, timings, transport and made sure their teacher knew where they were going.

Be like them.
